Nova Lake isn’t coming out anytime soon but, like clockwork, the launch of Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh is getting closer. Sure, there hasn’t been any official word, the chipmaker’s rusty plumbing has sprung a leak on the subject, this time for a Core Ultra 7 270K Plus.
The leak came via the online repository, Geekbench. Specs-wise, the the 270K Plus appears to be a refresh of the Core Ultra 7 265K, albeit with some upgrades. It’s got 24-cores (eight P-Cores and 16 E-Cores), versus the 20-Cores of the 265K.

Additional details point to a base clock of 3.7GHz and boost clock of up to 5.5GHz. As it is still an Arrow Lake chipset, it’s reusing the same LGA1851 socket as before. The system used to test it is listed as a Lenovo system, which was fitted with 48GB of DDR5 RAM, running at 7,200MT/s.
In terms of performance, the 270K Plus scored 3,205 point on the single core test, and 22,206 points for the multi score test. By comparison, that’s a score that is nearly on par with the current Core Ultra 9 285K, according to official rankings.
Beyond that, there is no further or official information regarding Arrow Lake Refresh. Intel itself has been pretty tight-lipped but rumours suggest that it is also increasing the number of cores on the new models; the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus could ship out with 24-cores, while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus will have 14-cores.
