ShopeePay has launched a couple of insurance-related products within the year. Today, the company has announced the launch of something else. It’s called ShopeePay Invest, which is a pretty self-explanatory name. As you’d expect, the company claims that its offering is “an intuitive and simplified way for Malaysians to kick start their investment journey”.

The launch of the product was done in partnership with wealth management brand iFAST Capital. This gives users access to “global investment opportunities through a curated list of 38 funds”. These include local and international markets of various sectors. There are also Shariah-compliant options for those who want that.

According to the announcement, ShopeePay Invest is being rolled out in phases, and will be made available to all users by 29 October. You can check if you’ve gotten access via both the Shopee and ShopeePay apps. There’s no cap on total investments, but you’ll need to put in at least RM10. For a limited time, the company is offering users 0% sakes fees on all fund subscriptions.

To entice users to join, ShopeePay has also launched promo campaigns. This involves prizes like an iPad Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, and an unspecified Dyson vacuum cleaner, though it looks like the V15 Detect. Users are eligible to win these prizes if you invest a minimum of RM500 before 1 December, and maintain it until the holding period ends on31 January 2026. You can find out more about the campaign, and by extension ShopeePay Invest itself, by hitting this link.
