Last month, Samsung unveiled the Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F as its newest portable party speakers. At the time, the brand confirmed that the products will be making their way to our shores, but did not mention any further details. Now, Samsung has announced that it will open pre-orders for the speakers soon.
To recap, the Sound Tower ST50F offers 240W of output with 6.5-inch dual woofers and 25mm dual dome tweeters. As for the ST40F, it comes with 160W of output with 5.25-inch woofers and 20mm tweeters. The speakers are equipped with Samsung’s Waveguide technology, which includes three different bass modes.
Aside from that, the speakers can be paired together via True Wireless Stereo. Both models also support Auracast Group Play. Other features include DJ Booth mode, karaoke support, as well as a guitar input. Not to be forgotten is the Party Lights+ system, which lets the user sync the built-in LED lights to the music.
As for battery life, the ST50F offers up to 18 hours of playback, while the ST40F can last a maximum of 12 hours. Both models get a Grip & Roll design for portability. Rounding things off is an IPX4 rating for splash resistance.
Pre-orders for the speakers will begin on 20 October 2025. Pricing starts at RM1,699 for the ST40F. As for the ST50F, it will be available for RM2,599. In the meantime, Samsung is offering prospective buyers the opportunity to get the speakers at a discounted price. Until 19 October 2025, customers can purchase a Samsung Reservation+ voucher for RM10. This voucher can then be redeemed for a RM100 discount on the ST40F. For the ST50F, the voucher will net a RM200 discount instead.
