OpenAI has officially launched its ChatGPT Go plan in Malaysia. This new subscription tier promises access to ChatGPT’s advanced capabilities at a more affordable price compared to the existing Plus and Pro options.
Priced at RM38.99 per month, ChatGPT Go offers perks such as extended access to the company’s flagship GPT-5 model with higher message limits. Compared to the free plan, this subscription tier’s message limits are ten times higher.

Aside from that, image generations and file uploads are both increased tenfold. Memory is also doubled, allowing for more personalised responses. Of course, as the company’s cheapest offering, this plan does not include access to the more advanced tools like deep research and Sora video creation. These capabilities are limited to the Plus and Pro plans.
Those interested in signing up for ChatGPT Go can head over to the official website or download the mobile app. Naturally, the user must have an account before subscribing to any of the available plans. Once the user has made an account and chosen their desired plan, they can pay through the in-app payment. For now, web users can only pay via credit card, although the company promises to “look for additional payment options soon”.
The subscription applies to the user’s account, so they can access the perks across all their devices. According to OpenAI, those who are already subscribed to another plan can switch to ChatGPT Go in the settings.
