New leaks suggest that OPPO is already working on the Reno15 series, namely on its Pro and Pro+ variants. As the naming convention suggests, this smartphone lineup is the follow-up to the Reno14 series that was released earlier this year.
These leaks came from Smart Pikachu, a tipster on Weibo, who claims that the alleged smartphone will feature the upcoming Dimensity 8500 SoC. Furthermore, the tipster claims that various phone brands are using the alleged Dimensity chipset to either create “all-rounder” handsets, camera-focused smartphones, or 10,000mAh smartphones. Based on the information given so far, it seems that the OPPO Reno15 might be on the second option.

The tech publication Gizmochina speculates that the SoC will be reserved for the Pro and Pro+ variants of the OPPO Reno15. Furthermore, the publication mentions that the alleged smartphone series will debut in China later this November. If true, the OPPO Reno15 Pro and Pro+ could be the first smartphones to launch with the supposed chipset.
Moving on to the series as a whole, reports suggest that the series will feature three models: the base, Pro, and Pro+. The range is said to include 6.3-inch, 6.59-inch, and 6.78-inch screens, though it has not been reported which models will have which display sizes.

The publication reports that the 6.3-inch model is said to come with a 1.5k LTPS OLED display and a periscope camera. On the other hand, the 6.59-inch variation shares the same specs as the 6.3-inch model, save for a 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor.
As always with reports such as these, this information is still speculative and should not be treated as facts until proven otherwise. However, as we approach its rumoured November launch, we might hear more of OPPO’s upcoming series.
