One of the more interesting products revealed during Logitech’s G Play live stream last week is the Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse. Now, it has been confirmed that the device will see a release in Malaysia next year. The announcement came from Logitech Malaysia’s Head of Gaming Products Korbin Sim during the brand’s local launch event earlier today, where the mouse was also previewed within a display case.
To recap, what makes the Pro X2 Superstrike different from most gaming mice on the market is its use of haptic feedback. While usually associated with controllers, Logitech has implemented the technology here to give users tactile confirmation the moment a click is registered. This is especially important because the mouse doesn’t use traditional mechanical switches, instead relying on analogue input.
That analogue input enables two features more commonly seen on keyboards: custom actuation points and rapid trigger capabilities. The former lets users fine-tune exactly how far a button must be pressed before an input is recognised, while the latter allows inputs to register without needing to fully release the button between presses. Both features are designed to improve response times and give competitive players an edge.
Logitech has also engineered the Pro X2 Superstrike with performance in mind. It comes in at just 65g, supports up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate, and offers wireless connectivity with a battery life of up to 90 hours on a single charge.
Unfortunately, no local pricing for the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike has been revealed just yet. For your reference, the mouse is currently listed at US$179.99 (~RM755) for the US market.
