OPPO has officially confirmed that its new Find X9 series, comprising a base and Pro models, will debut in China on 16 October. The announcement was made through the company’s official channels on Weibo.
Under the hood, both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be equipped with the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, alongside OPPO’s proprietary Trinity Engine technology. Battery life is expected to be a major highlight, with the standard Find X9 housing a 7,025 mAh cell and the Pro variant boasting a larger 7,500 mAh unit. OPPO revealed that it has also included a new dedicated physical button designed specifically for activating AI functions.

Additionally, the brand said it will introduce its first-party ColorOS 16 platform at the 2025 OPPO Developers Conference on 15 October ahead of the Find X9 series’ launch. The new operating system, based on Android 16, is said to come with a redesigned interface, enhanced AI features, and performance improvements.
OPPO has further confirmed that the Find X9 series will not remain exclusive to China, as its Chief Product Officer Pete Lau stated that the phones will also see a global launch. More details are expected to emerge as the official launch date draws closer.
