Lenovo official took the veil off of the Legion Go 2 earlier in the month. We even got a price for one configuration, but full availability details are still up in the air. Though it looks like things are a little worse for markets that get to pre-order the handheld. This is because the company says that it has had to cancel come pre-orders, as it couldn’t meet the overwhelming demand “in a timely manner”.
This comes a few days after Lenovo initiated an AMA on Reddit for the Lenovo Legion Go 2. The company answered a handful of questions before suddenly going silent. This is followed by an apology for not having the right people with the right answers ready for the AMA.

Then came the bad news for those in markets that allowed for pre-orders directly from Lenovo.com, and actually did it. The company says that it “will need to cancel some” of these pre-orders, as demand for the Legion Go 2 “substantially exceeded our projections”. Those affected will have to place their order again once stocks have been replenished.
Those who have placed their Legion Go 2 pre-orders with retailers, on the other hand, are unaffected. Locally, the official website lists the handheld PC as “ships within 6-8 weeks” at the time of writing.
