Lenovo, during its Legion Hands-On Event today has officially launched the Legion 9i for the Malaysian market. First unveiled during Tech World Shanghai 2025 in May, it is touted to be the brand’s most powerful laptop to date, tailored for both gamers as well as video game developers and other professionals.
One of the Lenovo Legion 9i’s main attractions is the option to switch its 18-inch 4K 240Hz LCD display with a 3D-capable option. The latter uses a combination of eye-tracking and lenticular lens array to deliver a 3D image without the need for special glasses. According to Lenovo, the experience is supported by a myriad of video and image formats, productivity apps, as well as video game titles. However, the resolution tanks to only 2K if you choose to go with this display option.
The laptop offers a lightweight forged carbon design and features integrated liquid-cooling technology. Ports-wise, the laptop provides a variety of USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a couple of Thunderbolt 5 ports, and an SDCard reader.
Internally, the new Legion 9i runs on up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, up to 64GB dual-channel DDR5-5200 RAM, and up to 4TB of PCIe 5.0 storage. Powering it is a 99.99Whr battery, along with a 400W power adapter.
As you’d expect, owning the powerful laptop will cost you a pretty penny. The Legion 9i is available now in Malaysia via Lenovo Exclusive Stores (LES) nationwide, starting from RM21,999.
