Last week, Infinix announced that it is launching the GT 30 in Malaysia. And just as promised, the phone has arrived on our shores, joining the Pro model that was released back in May.

The gaming smartphone sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 1,600 nits. Like its Pro counterpart, the base GT 30 sports capacitive shoulder triggers. Other features include an under-display fingerprint sensor and a dynamic lighting system on the back. Rounding things off is an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the device packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, as well as bypass charging. Additionally, the phone comes with the brand’s 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Cooling system for heat management.

For software, it runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15, with Infinix promising two major Android updates and three years of security patches. And like any other modern smartphone, the GT 30 is equipped with AI-powered features. Among these are AI call summaries and AI-generated wallpapers.

As for imaging, the device sports a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the rear. For the selfie enthusiasts, the front of the phone is equipped with a 13MP shooter.

The Infinix GT 30 is available in three colourways: Cyber Blue, Pulse Green, and Shadow Ash. Those interested in buying the phone can head over to the brand’s online stores on Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop. Alternatively, the phone can be purchased from Infinix authorised dealers.
