Lenovo announced its first generation Legion Glasses back in 2023, but it would be a few months later before it made its way to our shores. For better or worse, it’s much the same story with the second generation, that simply has Gen 2 tacked to the back of its name. First announced earlier this year, it is only now making its way to the local market.
Much like before, the Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2 features micro-OLED display tech. It gives you a virtual Full HD screen that’s the equivalent to a 126-inch display. As before, it also connects via USB-C, to most devices. But if nothing else, the second generation looks a lot less bulky, so people are less likely to recognise that you’re not wearing an ordinary pair of glasses.
Adding to that, Lenovo announced a free 3D Mode for the Legion Glasses Gen 2. This allows it to convert 2D games into stereoscopic 3D, with support for over 20 titles at launch. The company did not share what those games are, but it did say that the list will grow longer over time.
Which brings us back to the Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2 and is status in the local market. The company says that it is now available at brand’s own online store for a price of RM1,799, which currently has a 10% discount going on. Alternatively, it will be on shelves in mid-October, according to a company rep.
