ASUS has announced a flat RM400 discount for its ROG Phone 9 series of gaming smartphones. The discount is part of what it calls its National Day Deals. That being said, the discount lasts quite a bit longer than just next Tuesday.
The discount applies to three models in the range of four, so one of them is not getting discounted. But starting from the most affordable variant, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE will be priced at RM2,599 for the duration of the sale. Then there’s the base model ROG Phone 9, which is temporarily priced at RM3,599. And finally, the Pro model is discounted to RM4,599 as part of the sale.
Notably, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition, the top of the line model, is not here. So if you want that particular variant, it still costs the full RM5,999. That being said, the difference between the Pro and Pro Edition variants are simply that of RAM and storage. So if you’re fine with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage space, the Pro model will work just fine.
Which finally brings us to the duration of the sale itself. Despite ASUS calling it the National Day Deals, these discounts last until 12 October. So if any of these tickle your fancy, you have quite a bit of time to get them at a discount.
