We’ve managed to get a semi-confirmation for the starting price of the Lenovo Legion Go 2 in Malaysia. The console’s price will retail from RM5,399.
It’s definitely higher than its starting price in the US, and that’s just for the base model with the AMD Ryzen Z2 SoC. At the time of this publication, it’s not even clear which of the Ryzen Z2 Extreme models Lenovo is bringing in, but we should be getting our answer soon.

The Legion Go 2 officially broke cover last week, during a special showcase by Lenovo in Berlin. To run through the specs, the console retains the 8.8-inch display but this time around, it’s been upgraded to an OLED panel, from an IPS panel. Additionally, Lenovo appears to have learned its lesson, having “downgraded” the resolution from 1440p to FHD+, but still retaining the 144Hz refresh rate, which still feels a little excessive.
It comes in two chipset options: one with the Ryzen Z2 with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and the other with the more potent Z2 Extreme with double the memory. Regardless of configuration, the RAM in both systems run at a speed of 8000MT/s.

Additionally, the Z2 Extreme version comes with either 1TB or 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, while the Z2 model only gets 1TB.
The detachable Truestrike controllers are also now Hall Effect, eliminating any chance of stick drift. Finally, it comes with a larger 74Wh battery, but is also heavier at 1.08kg.
Ports-wise, the Legion Go 2 features the same dual USB4 ports, a microSD UHS-II port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. Now, we just have to wait for the availability date.
