Now here’s a partnership that you don’t see everyday. Senheng has announced that it is expanding its rewards ecosystem, allowing for AirAsia points to be claimed using S-Coins via the Senheng app. Of course, this is assuming you have access to the retailer’s PlusOne Membership loyalty program.
That being said, you need a little more than just being a member and having the app. Part of the process also involves the AirAsia MOVE app, which you should get anyway to spend said points. To convert your rewards to said points, you’ll first have to search for “AirAsia points” under the Redeem tab of the Senheng app. Then you’ll have to go to “Profile”, followed by “Voucher”, and copy the unique code.
From here, boot up the AirAsia MOVE app, look for “Points Code” and claim your points using said code. You can then check your points transaction history to see if the conversion has happened. As with points acquired any other way, you can use them for flights, seat upgrades, hotel stays, rides and more.
Lew Wai Hoong, General Manager of S Ecosystem (M) Sdn Bhd, said that the company wants “to make sure that our rewards system isn’t just about shopping discounts, but also about unlocking everyday experiences that truly matter to our members”. As part of the launch of the new reward feature, the company is also holding a nationwide contest, running from 15 September to 31 December.
