Samsung has introduced its latest portable party speakers, the Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F, during IFA 2025 in Berlin. Designed for indoor and outdoor gatherings, the two models combine high-powered sound output with dynamic lighting effects and improved portability.
The Sound Tower ST50F comes with 240W of output, powered by 6.5-inch dual woofers and 25mm dual dome tweeters, while the ST40F offers 160W with slightly smaller 5.25-inch woofers and 20mm tweeters. Both feature Samsung’s Waveguide technology, which distributes treble more evenly, alongside bass modes that let users switch between Deep, Punchy or Gentle. They also include four preset sound profiles: Standard, Wide, Stadium, and Outdoor.

Battery performance comes in at up to 18 hours of playback for the ST50F and 12 hours for the ST40F, with the option to swap batteries when needed. Both models carry IPX4 splash resistance and can be wirelessly paired together via True Wireless Stereo for left-right channel audio. Auracast Group Play support is also included for linking multiple units.
Another key feature is lighting, where Samsung has equipped the speakers with its Party Lights+ system, which syncs built-in LEDs with music beats in real time. Users can pick from five mood presets, six dynamic lighting effects and additional colour patterns through the Sound Tower app. Lighting zones include track, ring, line, crystal and handle lights, providing a full 360-degree glow.

Both speakers also come with entertainment features such as DJ Booth mode, karaoke support and a guitar input, turning them into multipurpose party setups. For portability, both models adopt Samsung’s Grip & Roll design, with the ST40F carrying an integrated handle, while the ST50F adds wheels and a telescopic handle for easier transport.

The Samsung Sound Tower ST50F and Sound Tower ST40F are confirmed coming to Malaysia this October. However, the company has yet to reveal the local pricing for both products, though further details are expected to be announced closer to launch.
