PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has announced scheduled lane closures along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) to facilitate billboard gantry installation works. The construction, carried out by an appointed third-party contractor, will take place on the stretch between Jalan Duta and Bukit Lanjan, from KM28.20 to KM28.25. The works are set for two nights, running from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am on 10 and 11 September 2025.
During this period, traffic flow in both directions will be affected. PLUS confirmed that three lanes on the southbound side towards Jalan Duta will be closed, leaving only the outermost lane accessible to vehicles. On the northbound side heading to Bukit Lanjan, two lanes will be shut, with traffic channelled through the remaining two outermost lanes.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance to minimise delays and exercise caution when approaching the affected stretch. The highway concessionaire has also urged drivers to obey all traffic signages and follow instructions from on-ground personnel for safety.
For real-time traffic updates, users can refer to the PLUS App, its PUTRI Virtual Assistant, official @plustrafik account on X, or the electronic signages (VMS) placed at selected locations. In the event of an emergency, assistance is available via the PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000.
