The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the South Korean tech giant’s thinnest phone in recent times. If you don’t take into account the camera bump, that is. It looks like the trend will not only continue with the S26 Edge, but possibly exacerbated. Renders of the device have appeared online, showing a successor device that’s thinner, but with a much larger camera bump instead.
These renders come courtesy of serial leakster @OnLeaks. As reported by Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is, for the most part, pretty much what you’d expect from it. This includes a flat screen with slightly rounded edges for a more comfortable grip. The buttons, USB-C port and front-facing camera are also where you expect them to be.

But the most striking difference is the large camera bump. The phone is still sporting the same two-camera setup at the back, but the bump itself now extends lengthwise to the other end. The outlet cites a prior WinFuture report of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge featuring a 50MP wide-angle camera. But otherwise, it won’t be featuring particularly large sensors that explain the large bump.
Instead, the outlet mentions that the thinness of the device is the reason for the bump. Unfortunately, the report stops short of explaining the point. Also mentioned is a slightly larger battery, rated at 4,200 mAh, as well as the inclusion of Qi2 magnets. Beyond that, it’s unclear of these two components are located in the bump to explain its size. Or that they will merely be present in in the phone.

Considering that Samsung may be making the Edge model part of its initial S series launch line up, we’ll likely find out for sure early next year. Of course, we’re also likely to learn more about the Galaxy S26 Edge via leaks between now and then.
