OPPO is preparing to release the Find X9 lineup in its home market sometime in October. Ahead of the official launch, the brand has shared some details on the device, namely its thickness and battery capacity.
In a Weibo post, OPPO Find series product manager Zhou Yibao revealed that the Find X9 will measure 7.99mm thick. For comparison, its predecessor measures 7.85mm. This makes the phone ever so slightly thicker than the Find X8, for whatever that’s worth.

That said, the Find X9 will be getting a bigger battery. According to the company, the capacity will be increased by more than 1,000mAh compared to the previous generation. An exact figure was not given, but previous rumours have suggested that the phone will pack a 7,025mAh battery. Other than that, the battery is said to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Of course, the bigger battery does mean that the device will be heavier. However, Zhou explained that the brand is implementing a number of “weight-reduction measures” in the smartphone’s other modules. While he did not offer any more information on these measures, he assured that the Find X9 will weigh under 210g.

As for the phone’s other specifications, some leaks have claimed that it will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Internally, the OPPO Find X9 will allegedly feature a Dimensity 9500, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Beyond that, it is expected to run on Android 16 via ColorOS 16.
On the imaging end, the phone will reportedly sport a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN9 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera. The front camera will apparently be a 50MP unit.
