The electric scooter scene is seeing an expansion in the Malaysian market, with many players introducing their own brand of electrical zippiness. The most recent brand to jump on the bandwagon is QJMotor with its E-LTR electric scooter.

Priced at RM6,999 before insurance and registration fees, the e-scooter is also eligible for the RM2,400 MARiiCas rebate. Additionally, this two-wheeler model marks the first e-scooter from the automaker.

In terms of design, the E-LTR features a classic scooter silhouette with a distinctive hexagon-shaped headlight at the front. At the rear, it sports a U-shaped taillight with circular elements, flanked by vertically aligned turn indicators for better visibility, while a sleek silver grab rail above the light adds style.

It’s also got under-seat storage, dual front storage, a USB port, an anti-theft key system, and a digital LED instrument cluster. Dimension-wise, the scooter measures 189 x 110 x 710 cm. The QJMotor E-LTR comes in two colours for the Malaysian market, Dark Blue and White, while the seat colour remains the same brown colour.

The e-scooter takes five to six hours to charge from 30% to 80% with its 74-Volt, 27 Ah lithium-ion battery pack, and has a range of 105km on a single full charge.
