After last week’s teaser, realme has unveiled two new concept phones at its 828 Fan Festival in China. The first is a smartphone with a 15,000mAh battery, while the second is the Chill Fan Phone, which the company touts as the world’s first “AC” smartphone.
Starting with the realme 15,000mAh, it packs a battery with a capacity of, as the name says, 15,000mAh. This is achieved through a 100% silicon anode battery design for an energy density of 1,200 Wh/L. The company also used solid electrolytes and optimised the battery packaging process. Additionally, the motherboard components have been reworked.
According to realme, the phone boasts a battery life of up to one week. A single charge offers more than 50 hours of video playback, and over 18 hours of video recording. The brand also claims the device can power a 30-hour gaming session. The phone also comes with reverse charging capabilities, allowing it to serve as a powerbank for other electronics.
Despite the massive capacity, the phone’s battery reportedly only measures 6.48mm. The phone itself is 8.89mm thick. realme has kept the other specifications under wraps, but apparently the smartphone sports a 6.7-inch screen. It’s also equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For software, it runs on Android 15 via realme UI 6.0.

Moving on to the Chill Fan Phone, the device bears a resemblance to the company’s GT 7 lineup, complete with the IceSense back. It packs a 10,000mAh battery, but the main appeal is its cooling system, which uses three different methods to keep things chill.
The phone features a large vapour chamber spanning a 7,700mm2 area, and a spinning fan for heat dissipation. Additionally, a thermoelectric cooler is integrated directly into the phone. realme claims that this cooling system allows the phone to remain six degrees Celsius cooler while maintaining the maximum frame rate in popular gaming titles.

At the moment, these devices are only prototypes designed to highlight the brand’s R&D capabilities and are not commercially available. It’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing either of these phones in the market in the near future.
