Earlier this month, vivo teased the local launch of the latest addition to its midrange V series, the V60. And just as promised, the brand has brought the successor to the V50 to our shores.
To start off, the smartphone features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,392 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Moreover, it comes with stereo speakers, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor. The entire package comes with an IP69 rating.
Under the chassis, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. For software, it runs on Android 15 via Funtouch OS 15 with four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Connectivity features include WiFi 6, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.4.
For photography, the phone’s imaging system is once again powered by ZEISS. This includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, as well as a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens. The front of the phone is equipped with a 50MP selfie snapper.
Aside from Berry Purple, the vivo V60 is available in your choice of Mist Gray or Summer Blue. Pricing starts at RM1,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB configuration. The 12GB version retails for RM2,399, but early birds can get it at a discounted price of RM2,299.
Additionally, a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is available for RM1,899 as an online exclusive. As part of the launch, customers pre-ordering the phone from now until 4 September 2025 are entitled to receive free gifts worth up to RM1,336, including a POP Mart ZSIGA Limited Edition Box.
