With the 828 Fan Festival just around the corner, we expected to see more details about the upcoming 10,000mAh smartphone from realme. Though rather than any specs, it was instead revealed that the upcoming device will have a “built-in AC”.

Called the “Chill Fan Phone”, this “AC” is actually no more than a built-in cooling fan that can allegedly be used to cool the user. This was demonstrated in the Instagram reel of the consumer electronics company’s official Indonesian branch. This side-mounted vent was also showcased to be strong enough to blow out the candle as well as push away a rubber duck on water in the same reel.

In terms of actual benefits to the phone, the reel claims that it lowers the device’s temperature by six degrees Celsius. Though it’s not exactly clear from the clip if this is something that turns on automatically when the phone is under heavy load, or something you turn on manually.

Unfortunately, no further details about the realme device were revealed, as the company is obviously saving it for later this week. On the other hand, we did get to see the phone’s backside. You can spot a massive camera island with perhaps two vertically aligned camera lenses with a ring flash just right of it in full view. Hopefully, we get to know what these two cameras and the rest of the handset are exactly capable of soon.
