COROS has recently launched its latest GPS smartwatch, the COROS Nomad, in Malaysia. The wearable is designed for hiking, trail running, climbing and other endurance activities, combining rugged durability with a wide set of training and navigation tools.
The Nomad features a 1.3-inch display with COROS’ third-generation Memory in Pixel (MIP) technology, designed to offer sharp contrast and better colour accuracy in different lighting conditions. Its casing combines a dual-layer aluminium bezel with fibre-reinforced polymer, while the screen uses hardened mineral glass. The smartwatch is water resistant up to 50 metres and is available in green, brown, and dark grey.
Multiple sport modes are supported, ranging from running, hiking, cycling, and climbing to swimming, snow sports, yoga, indoor cardio, and triathlon. On the training side, the Nomad includes COROS’ Running Fitness Test, Training Load metrics, Recovery Timer, Effort Pace, Resting Heart Rate, and more. It also covers sleep monitoring, heart rate and stress tracking, SpO2, ECG, and more.

The watch debuts COROS’ Adventure Journal feature, which lets users save voice notes, tag locations, add photos, and create memos during activities. For navigation, the Nomad supports Dual-Frequency GNSS for improved positioning and allows users to download global maps, including complete topography.

For added flexibility, the watch integrates with apps such as Strava, Nike Run Club, TrainingPeaks, and Apple Health, and it supports camera control for GoPro and Insta360. Battery life for the Nomad is said to be up to 22 days of standard use, or 50 hours in All-Systems GPS mode.

For the Malaysian market, the Nomad is priced at RM1,699. It is available now via the PANGU Running website, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and authorised COROS distributors nationwide.
