Smartphone brand realme has announced that it will be launching its Note 70 entry-level smartphone soon. It’s not exactly a yearly cycle, since the Note 60 launched pretty late last year. This new one launches on 28 August instead, according to the company.
As you’d expect from such teasers though, the brand isn’t revealing much of the phone it’s about to launch later this week. Although it does try to claim that, despite it being an entry-level device, it is anything but low-end. One item on the realme Note 70 spec sheet that the brand has revealed to enforce the claim is its 6,300 mAh battery. This is then paired with the 7.94mm body, which the company claims is the “thinnest in its class”.
The company also tries to sell the durability of the realme Note 70 by saying that it has “Military Grade Shock Resistance”. That being said, the brand stopped short of actually listing a MIL-STD rating. Instead, there’s an IP54 rating, and helping with the water resistance part of the rating is the SonicWave Ejection tech.
At any rate, more of the realme Note 70 will be revealed once it launches on 28 August. Being part of the same series, it should be priced similarly to the device that came before.
