Huawei has announced that it will be hosting a launch event in Paris on 19 September 2025. While the brand did not explicitly specify the products it will be unveiling, the announcement features an image depicting two smartwatches. These are likely part of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 6 series.
For the time being, the company has not divulged any details on the successor to its Watch GT 5 lineup. That said, last year’s batch included a standard Watch GT 5 and a Watch GT 5 Pro. This means we can probably expect a base model and a Pro variant for this series as well.
Other than that, a leakster previously shared the size and colour options for the wearables. Apparently, they will come in 41mm and 46mm sizes. The leakster also mentioned the colour options for the watches, although it is unclear whether these refer to the cases or the straps.
According to the leak, the smaller watch is codenamed “Kinsu” and will come in gold, purple, brown, white, and black. Meanwhile, the bigger “Atum” will supposedly be available in gray, brown, silver, titanium, green, and black.
As usual, rumours and leaks are to be taken with a grain of salt. We will probably hear more about the smartwatches straight from the horse’s mouth as the event draws closer. Aside from the watches, the event may also bring the brand’s newest tablet, the MatePad Air 12, to the global market.
