Back in May, realme showcased its prototype for a smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh battery. Now, it looks like the company has decided to up the ante with an upcoming device, which will pack a battery with a capacity of more than 10,000mAh. The brand is planning to unveil this 1X000mAh battery at its 828 Anniversary Celebration on 27 August 2025.
For the time being, realme is keeping a lot about this mystery phone under wraps. What we do know is that the 1X000mAh battery utilises a 100% full silicon anode battery for an energy density of 1,200Wh/L. According to the company, this is the highest achieved in a smartphone. Other details are still a secret, but we can probably expect the device to feature a slim form factor. It is also unclear whether the device will be a prototype like the GT 10,000mAh, or if it will be readily available on the market.
realme has carved a niche for itself by focusing on battery technology. Last year, it unveiled the 320W SuperSonic Charging system, which takes about four and a half minutes to fully charge a 4,420mAh battery. And of course, earlier this year, it debuted the GT 7 with a 7,000mAh battery that supports 120W charging.
As realme prepares for the 828 Anniversary Celebration, it also teased a second “game-changing” technology that will make its debut at the event. The brand is of course playing coy about what this new technology is, so we’ll just have to wait until it divulges more information.

In the meantime, the company suggests keeping an eye on its official Facebook page. It plans to share details on the realme Malaysia’s Real Friends Club, which will open for registration ahead of the celebration.
