It’s no surprise that the Google Pixel 10 series will not only be launching, but also landing on our shores. But now that the phones have been revealed officially on the Made by Google stage, the internet search giant has also revealed some details of the devices locally.

For now, we’re sticking to the base model Google Pixel 10, which comes in a 6.3-inch form factor. The Full HD+ Actua OLED screen now goes up to 3,000 nits brightness for easier outdoor viewing, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, you have the annual upgrade resulting in the Tensor G5 chipset, supported by 12GB of RAM. It packs a 4,970 mAh battery, which the company claims gives it a 30-hour use time. Charging support includes 30W wired and 15W Qi2 charging.

But probably the biggest improvements that the base model Google Pixel 10 sees is in its cameras. For the first time, the base model supports telephoto zoom, powered by the 10.8MP camera. This is lined up with the 48MP main and 12MP wide-angle pair. In front, it retains the 10.5MP secondary shooter.

On the software side of things, the Google Pixel 10 naturally launches with Android 16 right out of the box. The company also promises seven years of updates, like its other siblings. In the same vein, it also gets the exclusive AI feature called Magic Cue. In case you missed it, think of it as a proactive digital assistant that, for instance, pulls details from your Gmail or Google Calendar when your friend asks you what time your flight is. Which app or service it gets access to, you can individually set.

Locally, the Google Pixel 10 will have a starting price of RM3,999, but that also means starting with 128GB of storage space. At the time of writing, the company has not revealed the price of the 256GB option. Speaking of options, you have Obsidian, Frost, Indigo and Lemongrass as your colour choices. Pre-orders for it starts today, with availability proper starting on 28 August instead.
