At this point, there’s probably not much left to spoil when it comes to the upcoming Google Pixel 10 lineup. And yet, less than a week from the official launch, we have another leak. This time, we’re looking at renders of the official first-party cases set to debut with the phones, courtesy of Dutch website Nieuwemobiel.
The images depict cases for the base Pixel 10 and the Pro variants in all the colour options. Overall, they more or less look like the cases for the Pixel 9 series. However, there is one pretty notable detail. The inside of the Pixel 10 case sports a ring in the middle, which is likely an outline for a built-in magnet.

The presence of this ring more or less indicates that the cases will come with Qi2 support, not unlike Apple’s MagSafe functionality. This also lines up with some previous rumours and leaks. Last month, leakster Evan Blass shared a render of what may be the “Pixelsnap Charger” attached to the back of a Pixel 10.
While the inclusion of magnets in these cases might imply that the phones themselves may not come with native Qi2 support, it’s more likely that these magnets are there to help maintain a stronger connection. Again, this is similar to the iPhone cases used with MagSafe accessories.

Of course, we’ll only have full confirmation once Google officially unveils the phones. It won’t be a long wait, however. The Pixel 10 lineup will make its debut at the Made By Google event on 20 August.
