Tune Talk has introduced a new auto-renewal feature for prepaid users. This feature allows the user to add their debit or credit card for what the telco calls a “postpaid-like experience with the freedom and flexibility of prepaid”.
To get started, the subscriber must first navigate to the “Manage Payment” page in the Tune Talk App. From there, they need to add a debit or credit card and set it as the default payment method. Then, they can enable auto-renewal. Once the feature is turned on, the user’s existing plan will automatically be renewed via card. The user can toggle the feature off at any point. Doing so will revert the user back to manual reloads or renewals based on Tune Talk Credit.
According to Tune Talk CEO Gurtaj Singh Padda, this feature lets subscribers enjoy the convenience and continuity typically associated with postpaid contracts while having the no-strings, full-control benefits of prepaid plans. The auto-renewal feature marks the company’s shift away from conventional definitions of prepaid and postpaid.

This feature is available for all subscribers starting today. As part of the launch, the telco is offering a one-time reward of 500 points to users adding a new card and enabling the auto-renewal feature. In order to receive the points , the card must remain active for 30 days.
