The product image and specification details allegedly belonging to the DJI Mini 5 Pro appear to have made their way onto the internet. The latter, specifically, appears to be a snapshot of a misprinted sheet, which was then shared to the world.
The product render of the Mini 5 Pro was first discovered by Drone-Hacks on a public Discord server. As for the specs sheet, it is surmised that someone in a printing office in China may have been a little naughty and took a picture of it to share it.
Specs-wise, and according to the list, the DJI Mini 5 Pro will have a 1-inch Image Sensor capable of recording up to 4K120fps Video; True Vertical Shooting and 225° Gimbal Rotation; a “high quality” 48mm Med-Tele Mode; Nightscape Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing with Forward Facing LIDAR; ActiveTrack for Running, Cycling, and More; and a 36-minute Flight Time.
There isn’t a whole lot else but it is assumed that the Mini 5 Pro will be operating on the DJI O4 platform. For another matter, there’s also a picture of the drone in operation, likely taken by an employee of the brand.

One thing that isn’t clear is how heavy the DJI Mini 5 Pro is. According to DroneXL, the “less than 249g” statement appears to be absent from the packaging, suggesting that it will be heavier, on account of the new LIDAR and heavier camera. However, a separate rumour suggests that the company has developed two battery types: one that is bigger and one that is…lighter.
As for when we’ll be seeing the DJI Mini 5 Pro, all fingers are pointing to the month of September this year, with no exact date provided.
