vivo has revealed that it is launching the V60 in India on 12 August. At the time, there was no word on a Malaysian release, despite it being listed in SIRIM. Now, things have changed slightly, with the brand’s local arm announcing that the phone is “coming soon”.
The post can be found on the brand’s official Facebook page for the Malaysian market. Unfortunately, that’s all that’s changed since the previous report. This is because the post comes with no other details – not specs nor price, let alone any specs.

With that in mind, we can only go over what we already know, from the vivo V60 being a potential rebadge of the China-exclusive S30 to what little that was teased ahead of the India launch. The latter already has some of the essentials covered, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the 6,500 mAh battery and IP69 rating.
Then there are the 50MP main and 50MP telephoto pair at the back plus another 50MP shooter in front. On the software side fo things, there’s the Funtouch OS 15 overlaying Android 15. The rest have yet to be confirmed, but we’ll hopefully find out more after either the Indian launch of the vivo V60, or the local one instead.
