Last week, Huawei officially launched the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra in Malaysia. Now, the brand has made its photography-focused flagship smartphones available for purchase across the nation.
To recap, the two models feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. They also sport an AI Smart Button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Additionally, both phones come with an IP69 rating for protection.
As for internals, the devices differ slightly in terms of storage. The Pro model comes with 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra version gets 16GB of RAM. Both phones feature 512GB of storage. Aside from that, they are equipped with a 5,170mAh battery and run on EMUI 15.0.
On the imaging end, the Pura 80 Pro sports a 1-inch 50MP main sensor, a 48MP telephoto lens with 4x zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide unit. Meanwhile, the Ultra model packs a 1-inch 50MP main camera and a 40MP wide-angle lens. This version also sports a mechanical lens-shifting system that combines a 50MP 3.7x medium telephoto and a 12.5MP 9.4x super telephoto unit in a single structure.
The Pura 80 Pro is available for RM4,599. Colour options include Glazed Red, Glazed White, and Glazed Black. Meanwhile, the Pura 80 Ultra retails for RM6,599 and comes in Prestige Gold and Golden Black.
Both phones can be purchased at the brand’s physical stores, as well as online from the official website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Early buyers will receive gifts worth up to RM1,428, including a pair of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 and a one-year Huawei Care+ while stocks last.

Additionally, the Huawei Pura 80 Series 2025 Sales Start Campaign will run until 31 December 2025. During this period, customers purchasing either model can stand to claim prizes worth up to RM2,978. Both phones are also available via Maxis and U Mobile.
