You Can Try Out The Nintendo Switch 2 At LaLaport Bukit Bintang On 2, 3 August

In a sense, it's Malaysia's very own Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event.

The official, local units of the Nintendo Switch 2 are already in the market. With that in mind, it’s probably safe to assume that those who want one have already gotten one. But if you’re still undecided – or if you’re looking for something to change your mind – then your chance is coming soon.

Posted over the weekend by the official LaLaport Bukit Bintang Facebook page is the Nintendo Switch 2 Trial Event. It’s happening over the weekend, or on 2 and 3 August to be more specific. For both days, the event is scheduled for between 12PM and 8PM, at the ground floor main atrium.

Games being demoed on location include Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, as well as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The former two are naturally games made for the newer hardware, while the latter are there to showcase the improved performance the Nintendo Switch 2 provides over the predecessor.

Visitors to the Nintendo Switch 2 Trial Event also stand a chance to get free Pokemon- and Mario-related merch. This includes visors and stickers, among other things, and while stocks last. There’s also the disclaimer that the number of demo booths for each title will vary. And depending on the crowd size you may not be able to try out the game you want.

But with that in mind, if this tickles your fancy, then you can drop by LaLaport Bukit Bintang this weekend. Though be aware that this coincides with the location’s second week of Bon Odori event.
