Lexus Malaysia released an announcement revealing the addition of the RX 500h F Sport Special Edition to the Malaysian market. This was announced on the automaker’s social media platforms.
According to the posting, it seems like only 50 units of the special edition model are available in Malaysia. Furthermore, this special edition comes with a price tag of RM512,888, which is RM4,000 more than the price of the existing F Sport.
The differences go beyond just pricing—there are distinct design and feature enhancements that set the Special Edition apart. To start, the Special Edition features an exclusive Titanium Carbide Grey exterior paint and a unique Black Sport Package. It also comes with a mesh spindle grille with a wider hourglass design. Additionally, the puddle lamps now project the F Sport emblem, adding a subtle yet premium touch.
Inside, the cabin is outfitted with F Sport Dark Spin Aluminium trim and suede upholstery featuring a Kageri L-pattern embossing. Other highlights include a three-spoke F Sport steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The vehicle also comes with three-zone climate control, a digital rear-view mirror, a premium 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and ventilated, power-adjustable front seats for added comfort.

Under the bonnet, the Special Edition is powered by the same 2.4-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine that delivers 275 PS and 460 Nm of torque. Complementing this is also the same hybrid system that includes a front-mounted electric motor producing 87 PS and 292 Nm, integrated between the engine and a six-speed automatic transmission.
At the rear, an additional electric motor—referred to as the eAxle—generates 103 PS and 169 Nm, contributing to the Direct4 all-wheel drive system. Combined, the system delivers a total output of 371 PS and 550 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds.

Enhancing agility, the powertrain also features rear-wheel steering, allowing the rear wheels to turn up to four degrees for improved low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed stability. In terms of safety, the Special Edition is equipped with the full Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+) suite, which includes features such as Front Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Keeping System, Active Cornering Assist (ACA), Traction Control (TRC), and many more.
