BMW Motorrad’s full-electric scooter, the CE 04, returns for 2025 with updated styling, smarter tech and new trim levels. According to the automaker, the EV scooter is designed specifically for urban environments.
The refreshed CE 04 is now offered in three trims: Basic, Avantgarde, and Exclusive. All the variants come with LED headlamp, rear light and turn indicators, as well as adaptive turning light. However, the Basic trim is finished in Lightwhite with a clear windshield.

Meanwhile, the Avantgarde version gets a Gravity Blue base, São Paulo Yellow highlights, and a dark windshield. At the top, the Exclusive trim adds a Spacesilver metallic paint job, embroidered seat, improved wind protection, heated grips, and laser-engraved rims for a premium touch.
Regardless of variant, the chassis and riding dynamics of the BMW CE 04 stay the same. All models feature a steel-tube frame, 15-inch wheels, Bosch ABS (with optional ABS Pro), and a balanced ride tuned for urban commuting.

The CE 04 still features the 10.25-inch TFT display, which includes built-in navigation and smartphone connectivity, and under-seat storage still accommodates a full-face helmet. Additionally, the EV scooter retains its drivetrain, which is powered by a mid-mounted, liquid-cooled electric motor producing 31 kW and 62 Nm of torque. It takes 2.6 seconds to go from 0–50 km/h and has a top speed of 120 km/h.
The updated model is powered by an 8.9 kWh battery, which offers up to 130 km of range under the WMTC test cycle. Riders can now opt for a 6.9 kW fast charger, which slashes charging time from 0–80% to just 45 minutes – far quicker than the nearly four hours needed with the standard 2.3 kW charger.

The BMW CE 04 also comes with four riding modes: Eco, Train, Road, and Dynamic. It also has an ABS braking system, automatic stability control (ASC), and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) as part of its safety system.
The price of the refreshed BMW CE 04 is yet to be revealed, while it is unconfirmed if its coming to Malaysia. For your reference, the preceeding model is currently offered at RM59,500 locally.
