Ahead of the upcoming release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps later this month, Casio has collaborated with Marvel Studios to launch a limited edition collection of watches based on the titular characters of the film. The set comprises four G-Shock models, which are the GA-700HDS, GA-110HDS, GA-6900HDS, and GA-2100HDS.
What makes this collection stand out is the packaging based on the film, which features 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetics. In addition to this, the timepieces come with collectible Fantastic Four pin badges and exclusive artwork of the characters including the Marvel robot mascot, H.E.R.B.I.E.
All four models feature white cases with blue accents, sci-fi aesthetics, as well as glow-in-the-dark elements. Aside from that, they come with a shock resistant design that is both heatproof and freeze-proof. To round off the durability features, the watches are water resistant for up to 200 metres. Moreover, each watch sports an LED light for ensuring readability in the dark.
Each model in this collection retails for GBP99.90 (~RM572.80), with the exception of the GA-110HDS, which comes at a pricier GBP119.00 (~RM682.40). At the moment, the timepieces are only available in the UK, with no word on whether they will be brought to our shores.
