vivo has recently launched its newest smartphone for the Indonesian market, the Y19s GT 5G. At the moment, the new addition to the brand’s budget-friendly Y19s lineup is not available globally, and with no word on whether it will arrive in Malaysia.
The phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 720 × 1,600 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness of 570 nits. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as slots for two nano SIMs and a microSD card. For protection, it gets an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and SGS 5-Star Military Grade anti-drop certification.

Under the hood, the Y19s GT is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, depending on the chosen memory configuration. Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The phone runs on Android 15 via the brand’s Funtouch OS 15 skin.
For imaging, the device features a 50MP main sensor on the rear, while the front of the phone is fitted with a 5MP selfie snapper. The cameras are supported by AI-powered tools like AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance.
The vivo Y19s GT 5G comes in two colour variants, Jade Green and Crystal Purple. The base 6GB+128GB configuration retails for IDR1,999,000 (~RM524), while the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB versions are priced at IDR2,199,000 (~RM576) and IDR2,399,000 (~RM628) respectively.
