Alongside the Phone (3), Nothing also launched its first ever headset for the Malaysian market. Known aptly as the Headphone (1), it carries the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic, high-end audio delivery, as well as physical controls.
To recap its global launch, Nothing’s new audio product features a form fitting build that combines an aluminium frame, plastic shell, and rubber-like padding in place of typical faux leather. Its headband is adjustable, allowing it to support different head sizes as well as provide additional comfort.
Unlike most modern headphones, Nothing has opted for physical buttons over touch gestures. These include a volume roller, a multi-function paddle for playback control, and buttons for power, Bluetooth pairing, and voice assistants – all of which are located on the right ear cup.
Internally, the Headphone (1) features 40mm drivers and four built-in microphones for calls and noise cancellation. Speaking of the latter, ANC on the device is AI powered, allowing for real-time adaptive suppression and passthrough. Much like other audio devices from Nothing, the headset’s equaliser, noise cancelling and other features can be adjusted via the Nothing X mobile application.
Additionally, the Headphone (1) supports dual device connectivity via Bluetooth 5.3 and includes a 3.5mm jack, along with IP52 dust and water resistance. Battery-wise, Nothing claims that the device is capable of lasting up to 80 hours without ANC, or 35 hours with it enabled.
The new Nothing Headphone (1) is available in Black and White colourways, priced at RM1,099. Pre-orders are set to begin tomorrow on 12 July 2025 via the brand’s official website and online stores, as well as select partners nationwide. Much like the Phone (3), the headset is slated to be available in stores starting 1 August onwards.
