Nothing has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Phone (3), for the Malaysian market. Pre-order for the device starts tomorrow, though those eager to get it earlier will be glad to know that the company is holding a limited run exclusively at Crossover Sunway Pyramid on 19 July 2025.

What’s been revealed this evening echoes the Nothing Phone (3)’s global launch from earlier this month. To recap, the phone is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display pushing a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Replacing the previous Glyph Interface is the new Glyph Matrix, a dot-matrix style monochrome display made up of 489 individually-lit LEDs. Positioned at the top-right of the rear panel, it handles notifications and offers visual customisations, with a dedicated hardware button to toggle between modes.

Nothing also introduces Glyph Toys as part of the new mini display, which is a collection of interactive features like a clock, battery indicator, and casual games such as Rock Paper Scissors and Spin The Bottle. More features are in the works, with a public SDK allowing users to build their own.

Under the hood, the Phone (3) runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, paired with either 12GB RAM and 256GB storage or 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It packs a 5,150mAh battery that supports 65W wired, 15W wireless, and reverse charging.

On the software side, it ships with Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, with five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches. Meanwhile, its imaging system comprises a triple 50MP sensor setup for the primary, periscope telephoto and ultra-wide cameras, whereas in front is a 50MP selfie snapper housed within a punch-hole cutout.

The Nothing Phone (3) is priced at RM3,299 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration and RM3,799 for the 16GB + 512GB option, both available in either White or Black colourways. Pre-orders for the device starts tomorrow on 12 July 2025 via Nothing’s official online channels and physical store at Low Yat plaza, as well as authorised dealers nationwide. Open sales will commence on 1 August.

As mentioned earlier, a limited first drop will be available through Crossover Sunway Pyramid on 19 July, starting from 11am. Those who purchase the device by then are also entitled to receive a free storage upgrade and complimentary gifts including Nothing branded merchandise, a Nothing Ear, and one-year extended warranty.
