As previously promised, Infinix has officially launched the Hot 60 lineup of affordable smartphones in Malaysia. The series consists of two models, which are the Hot 60 5G and the Hot 60i. One of the highlights of this lineup includes slim and lightweight designs, with the Hot 60 measuring 7.8mm thick, and the Hot 60i a slightly more modest 7.7mm.

Both phones feature a 6.7-inch LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness of 700 nits. The two devices also come with the Adaptive One-Tap AI Button, which can be used to activate the brand’s Folax AI assistant or access a shortcut menu for the user’s frequently used apps. Aside from that, they also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The internals are where the phones differ, as the Hot 60 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 5G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Powering the phone is a 5,200mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging and 10W reverse charging. For connectivity, the device supports WiFi 5, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

Meanwhile, the Hot 60i is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate SoC, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also packs a 5,160mAh battery with 45W charging and 10W reverse charging. It also supports WiFi 5 and NFC, but unlike the Hot 60, it is limited to 4G and Bluetooth 5.3.
