Not long after the packaging for the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition was leaked, Microsoft officially released the VR headset. This release marks the Xbox Edition as the first limited edition Quest, and as such, it is in short supply. What’s more, it is only officially available in two regions: the US and UK.
The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is essentially a regular Quest 3S in the signature Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green colour scheme. Which means that like the vanilla version, the Xbox Edition features Fresnel lenses, a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels per eye, and a horizontal field-of-view of 96 degrees. It is also powered by a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Aside from the new look, the headset also comes with matching Touch Plus controllers, a limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as a Meta Quest Elite Strap. According to Microsoft, the Xbox Wireless Controller is pre-paired with the headset. Aside from these accessories, customers will also receive three months of Meta Horizon+ and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is priced at US$399.99 (~RM1,697), and as mentioned previously, are being sold in limited quantities in the US and UK. While the company has not specified an exact number of headsets available, it did say in a post announcing the launch that “once they’re gone, they’re gone”.
