Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) today previewed the all-new 2025 Santa Fe. The mid-size SUV will be one of the first launches from HMY after its official Malaysian presence, that was established recently. As revealed today, the upcoming seven-seater SUV comes in three variants: Prime (hybrid), Prestige (hybrid), and Calligraphy (internal combustion).

In terms of design, the automaker has embraced an H-design language, reflecting its emblem. This theme is evident throughout the exterior, starting with the H-shaped headlights and front bumper, which flow seamlessly into the dark chrome-finished radiator grille. The same design philosophy continues at the rear, with a matching layout for the taillights and rear fascia. Other key features include the hidden rear wiper.

In terms of the interior, Hyundai Malaysia is yet to reveal it until the launch of the SUV. However, taking reference from the left-hand driver version from Hyundai’s global website, we can expect a Panoramic Curved Display and dual wireless charging. The curved display connects the 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment system. Additionally, we can also expect Nappa leather seats and soft-touch wood-patterned garnish around the interior.

Now coming to the powertrain, as mentioned above, the Santa Fe is offered in three trims, two being hybrid and one being an internal combustion engine. As for the Prime and Prestige, they come with a 1.6 THEV engine with an output of 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque. The powertrain is supported by a 6-speed automatic gearbox and the power is sent to the front wheels of the SUV.

Meanwhile, the Calligraphy comes with a 2.5 TGDi engine with an output of 281 PS and 422 Nm. It is supported by an 8-speed DCT gearbox and comes in an all-wheel-drive configuration.

In terms of pricing and other details of the Santa Fe, the automaker is being tight-lipped about it. However, we can expect more information as the SUV is making its debut soon in Malaysia.
