We’ve seen the Nintendo Switch 2 completing the SIRIM stage, so the official announcement was an inevitability. Now, the company has announced that the official Malaysian devices will be available starting 3 July. Being only a week later later than the other three countries in Southeast Asia, it’s not that big a disparity, which is a pleasant surprise, depending on your perspective. And it’s way better than the previous range of between July and September.
With all that out of the way, the local and official units of the Nintendo Switch 2 will cost RM2,488, or RM2,688 if you opt for the Mario Kart World bundle. One of the official distributors, Convergent Distribution Sdn Bhd, tells us that the local Game Card has the software in it, rather than requiring you do download the game. On that note, these Nintendo Switch 2 devices will get the official one-year warranty, with said distributor also saying that the devices are entitled to a one-to-one replacement during said period.

Beyond the Nintendo Switch 2 and its Mario Kart World bundle, the distributor has also released the price for a number of games and accessories. You may have seen this image floating around on the internet, but we found it on the official Asashi Technology Facebook page.
