The last entry into the Razer Kishi line of mobile controllers was the Ultra, which was made large enough to take small tablets like the iPad mini in addition to the usual range of phones. But if that’s still not big enough – because you want to game on your 13-inch tablets, like the iPad Air or Pro – then the good news is one entry in the new Kishi V3 line can accommodate that.
With that being said, let’s start with the most excessive of the lot, the Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL. Beyond being compatible with large tablets, it also comes with back buttons that use the mechanical switches that the brand uses for its mice, similar to the Wolverine V3 Pro controller. Other details include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C passthrough charging for the connected device, and two additional buttons at the top, referred to as claw-grip bumpers. There’s also the Sensa HD Haptics to provide controller vibration.

But by far the most important element on the Razer Kishi V3 line, not just on the Pro XL, is the use of Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) sticks. In short, these sticks provide all of the benefits of Hall Effect sticks – including drift resistance – plus improved accuracy and energy efficiency. As an aside, the caps on these sticks are also swappable.
Moving down a tier to the Razer Kishi V3 Pro, this provides all of the benefits of the XL, except the maximum size of compatible devices has been brought down to 8 inches. Going down further to the base model is where more things got given up. It is now only compatible with phones, and it has lost the swappable caps, the extra claw grip bumpers and the Sensa HD Haptics.

As for what they cost, the base model Razer Kishi V3 starts off at RM499. Then there’s the Pro and Pro XL, costing RM769 and RM1,039 respectively. They are all already on the brand’s official Malaysian site, which you can visit by hitting the link below. Also mentioned here is a 6-month complimentary subscription to Apple Arcade.
