Last week, Nubia introduced a new A-series lineup in Vietnam, including the A56. While the ZTE-subsidiary has yet to announce a local launch, we can expect it to arrive here in the near future as the phone has made an appearance on the SIRIM database.
The A56 was listed on the SIRIM database on 6 June 2025 with the model number Z2473. The A36 and A76 have not appeared on the database yet, but it is still too early to conclude they will not be coming to Malaysia.
As for the Nubia A56, it seems to be identical to the ZTE Blade A56, so these two models might be rebadged versions of the same phone. Specs-wise, the entry-level phone sports a 6.75-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a water-drop notch.

Under the hood, the budget device runs on a Unisoc T7200 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Powering it is a standard 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. On the imaging side, it features a 13MP main camera, a depth sensor, and an 8MP front shooter. Additionally, the phone gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking.
