Infinix has officially launched its first AI ring in Malaysia. The ring, which is called the Infinix AI Ring, was initially unveiled in March along with the AI Buds as part of the brand’s AIoT ecosystem. Weighing 3.6g, the device was designed to be stylish as well as functional.
The ring has a 5 ATM rating for water resistance, which means it can be worn for activities like swimming. Additionally, a single charge offers about five to seven days’ worth of battery. The clear charging case that comes with the ring allows it to be charged seven times.
As with any smart ring, the AI Ring comes with health-tracking features, among which include heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep cycles, and stress levels. According to Infinix, the ring is capable of offering personalised insights that are suited for the wearer’s lifestyle as it intuitively learns individual habits and rhythms.
The ring also supports smart control, allowing the wearer to perform actions like snap photos without directly using their phone. Smart control can also be used for music and compatible smart home devices, which means the user can manage their electronics with gestures.
The AI Ring is priced at RM499 and comes in two colours, Black and Gold. The ring can be purchased from the brand’s physical stores across the nation, as well as its online stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Each ring comes with a 12+1 month warranty period.
