Those who missed out on the initial run of the limited edition “You Light Up My Life” NFC card will be glad to know there’s another chance to get it soon. According to a reliable source who is familiar with the matter, Touch ‘n Go (TnG) is expected to restock the card by mid next week, though no exact date has been confirmed.
As before, the card is said to be available via TnG’s official Shopee store, as well as its Nu Sentral and Bangsar South hubs. However, the source warned that it could sell out quickly online, so buyers are advised to manage their expectations.
Introduced last week, the “You Light Up My Life” NFC card features a fun gimmick: a built-in LED that lights up when used for payments at compatible terminals or when reloading its balance via the TnG eWallet app. Unsurprisingly, it was a hit—selling out on TnG’s Shopee store just moments after its Facebook announcement.
It’s unclear how many units will be available during the second run, but given the earlier warning, stock is expected to be limited once again. The card is priced at RM27, and no price change is anticipated for the upcoming restock.
