Following the teaser by the brand earlier in the month, the HONOR 400 series has now been officially launched in Malaysia. The launch confirms a number of leaks regarding the phones’ specs from earlier, as well as disproving a few of the others, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

Starting with the base model phone, the HONOR 400 is now confirmed to be equipped with a 6.55-inch 1.5K (2,736 x 1,264) AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 80W charging. At the back, it has a 200MP main + 12MP wide-angle camera combo, with a 50MP front-facing shooter sitting in a pill-shaped notch. The device also comes with an IP66 rating.

Moving on to the HONOR 400 Pro, we’re looking at a 6.7-inch quad-curved 1.5K (2,800 x 1,280) AMOLED screen, this time with the 120Hz refresh rate specified as well. Inside, there’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 6,000 mAh battery, but this one comes with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It has an identical camera setup to the base model, with the addition of a 50MP telephoto shooter. The Pro model is also the only one to benefit from the IP69 rating.

On the software side of things, both entries of the HONOR 400 Series runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. They also share a suite of AI-focused functionality related to photo and video capture, such as AI Image to Video. On the more practical side of things, you get the usual AI tools like writing, translation and subtitles, plus the addition of AI Deepfake detection.

The HONOR 400 series all get 12GB of RAM, while the Pro model only gets one configuration. Starting with the base model, you can get the phone with 256GB of storage space for RM1,899, or 512GB for RM2,199. Get it during the pre-order period, which is between now and 29 May, and you can get it for RM1,899 instead. The Pro model has 512GB of storage as well, costing RM2,699. Get it within the pre-order period, and a FUJIFILM instax mini LiPlay is thrown in for free.
