LG has announced a new audio lineup called xboom, in collaboration with American artist will.i.am. The lineup is currently made up of three portable Bluetooth speakers and one pair of wireless earbuds.
The most affordable of the bunch is the xboom Buds, which are compact earbuds with tiny wing tips for a more snug fit. It features active noise cancellation that can reduce noise up to 35dB and supports Aurocast, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair with Bluetooth 5.4.

Battery-wise, it can last up to 10 hours on a single charge without ANC and 7.5 hours with ANC enabled, for a total listening time of up to 30 hours with the case. For durability, the earbuds come with an IPX4 rating for dust and water resistance.

Next up is the xboom Grab, a speaker that comes with a 16mm dome tweeter, a racetrack woofer, and passive radiators. Built for the outdoors, it gets a military MIL-STD-810H rating as well as an IP67 rating for dust, water, temperature, and impact resistance. The portable speaker can last up to 20 hours on a single charge.

The xboom Bounce is similarly an outdoor portable speaker, but it is fitted with upward-facing radiators and it comes with a longer usage time of 30 hours. Also equipped with MIL-STD-810H and IP67 ratings, the Bounce differentiates itself from the Grab with its AI Calibration feature, which optimises the sound based on the size and shape of the space you are in, alongside its LED lighting.

Finally, there is the xboom Stage 301, which is designed for parties and performances. While still technically a portable speaker, it is definitely the largest offering in the lineup. It is packaged together with a 6.5-inch woofer and dual 2.5-inch mid-range drivers, with a plug for microphones and guitars. Powering it is a swappable battery with a playtime of 12 hours each.
The xboom Buds will retail at RM529 while the Grab and Bounce will be sold at RM749 and RM899 respectively. While these three models will be available for purchase through LG’s website starting 23 May 2025, the Stage 301 will only be coming here later this year.
