Tune Talk has officially launched its in-app entertainment hub, the Games and Drama in Tune Talk App. This feature is the first of its nature to be offered by a telco in Malaysia, and was developed in collaboration with cloud entertainment platform Jolibox.
According to Tune Talk, the app offers a selection of over 200 dramas spanning across 14 different genres, including international and local content. It also offers more than 200 casual games in 11 genres, ensuring that the user has access to a wide variety of content without needing to leave the app. Additionally, the games do not require any additional downloads.
The user can also earn Tune Talk Points through gaming or streaming, which can be used to redeem rewards offered in the app. To earn the points, the user must either play a game for a predetermined amount of time or stream a certain number of drama episodes. For example, playing a game for ten minutes or watching three episodes will net the user ten points.
Tune Talk CEO Gurtaj Singh Padda asserted that the company is not just concerned about how people connect seamlessly, but is also changing what they can do with that connection. He went on to explain that the introduction of the entertainment hub is meant to create a fun, interactive, and personal mobile experience for everyone while making entertainment easily accessible.
As part of the launch, Tune Talk is offering free access to the entertainment hub to all subscribers until 21 June 2025. After the promotional period, users must subscribe to the Epik 50+ plan to gain access to the Drama feature, while the Games feature will be available for both Epik 50+ and Epik 35+ subscribers.
